About these terms

These terms apply when you use the AutoBazaar website and the AutoBazaar app, run by AutoBazaar, No: 7, PHR Road, Kathirvedu, Thiruvallur - 600 066. By using them you accept these terms. The FairPrice ride app has its own terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What AutoBazaar offers

• Information on new autorickshaw models: specifications, price breakups, EMI and running-cost estimates, and comparisons.
• Used autos listed by their sellers.
• Enquiries, quotations, test-drive and loan requests.
• An accessories shop.
• Information on government schemes.

Prices and information

• Vehicle prices, on-road breakups, EMI figures and running costs on the site are estimates to help you plan. They are not an offer.
• The final price, availability and finance terms are confirmed in writing by us or the dealer before you pay.
• Prices and taxes set by manufacturers, insurers, the RTO or the government can change at any time.
• Government scheme information is a summary. The scheme's own authority decides who is eligible and what they receive.
• We try to keep everything accurate. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.

Your account

• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time SMS code. Keep your phone secure, because anyone who can read your SMS can sign in as you.
• Please give your real name and correct contact details.
• We may suspend an account that is used to mislead other people or to misuse the site.
• You can close your account at any time from the account deletion page.

Enquiries and vehicle purchases

Sending an enquiry, or asking for a quotation, test drive or loan, does not commit you or us to a sale. A vehicle purchase is completed with the dealer, on the dealer's invoice and paperwork. A loan is decided by the lender. Our Vehicle Buying Policy explains the steps.

Used autos

Used autos are listed by their sellers. The details and document status shown are as the seller declared them. Before you pay anything, check the original RC, permit, fitness certificate and insurance and see the vehicle in person; we will go through the originals with you on request. If you list an auto, you confirm that you are entitled to sell it and that its details are true.

Accessory orders

• Placing an order is a request to buy. We confirm it by phone before dispatch.
• We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was shown in error, or we cannot deliver to the address. If that happens we tell you, and you pay nothing.
• Payment is Cash on Delivery.

Reviews and what you post

Reviews must be about your own experience. We read every review before it is published, and we do not publish reviews that are abusive, off-topic or not genuine. By posting a review or a listing, you let us show it on the website and apps.

Fair use

Please do not:

• use the site for anything unlawful;
• send false enquiries or orders;
• try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours;
• copy the site's content in bulk.

Our responsibility

We provide the site and its information to help you decide. Vehicles are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, and loans by the lender's terms. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them; the date at the bottom shows when they last changed.
